The Artist
Arts, Insights and Community
I combine photography, fine art, and business expertise to celebrate people, support artists, and strengthen communities.
Sandra Albers is a Brazilian-born, self-taught multidisciplinary artist and community builder based in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Working across classical oil painting, photography, and sculpture, she explores human expression, movement, athletic spirit, and the personal stories that connect us.
Through Artesã Studio-Gallery at the Rivoli Arts Building, Sandra creates welcoming spaces for artistic exploration and connection, hosting weekly live-model sessions, human form exhibitions, and creative collaborations.
As a Project Management Professional (PMP®) certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI), Sandra brings her experience in business, technology, and project management into her creative practice. She supports fellow artists through marketing, digital strategy, and community initiatives, including leading marketing and social media for local art events.
Sandra believes art brings people together, inspires new perspectives, and builds meaningful connections within the community.
The Studio-Gallery
A Space for Creative Gathering
Founder of Artesã Gallery
Sandra Albers founded Artesã Gallery, an independent, art space inside the Rivoli Arts Building in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Created to foster creativity, collaboration, and community, the gallery serves as a hub for free public exhibitions, weekly live-model painting sessions, and inclusive gatherings where local artists can connect, share knowledge, and grow together.
Drawing on her background in business, project management, and technology, Sandra combines her artistic practice with community building to create opportunities for artists and strengthen the local arts scene.
Artesã Gallery welcomes visitors every First Friday from 5–8 PM and by appointment for private visits.
